Tunturi Medical Center offers comprehensive medical services for travelers at all our locations – in Levi, Ruka, Saariselkä & Pyhä. We treat acute illnesses, infections, accidents, and other ailments arising during your holiday quickly and safely. We serve you in Finnish, English, and with the help of interpretation services for other languages if needed.

Acute illnesses and accidents
Whether you are on the slopes, in the terrain, or at your accommodation, you get fast help from us for fever, sore throats, ear infections, stomach troubles, or accidents. We have our own X-ray, laboratory, and urgent care facilities, so diagnosis and treatment can be done immediately on-site.

Medical certificates and insurance matters
During your visit, we prepare all necessary medical certificates for travel insurance, employers, or air travel. We submit statements and receipts directly to the insurance company when needed, and the patient receives a written summary of examinations and treatments.

Pain management and home care instructions
We ensure that your trip can continue safely after treatment. You will receive precise instructions on medication, rest, exertion, and monitoring symptoms. Our doctors also advise on when it is necessary to seek further treatment or emergency care.
