Results are available in a few minutes, so diagnosis and treatment can begin right away – without the need for a separate laboratory visit.

Range of tests

Our rapid laboratory selection covers the most common inflammation and infection markers, as well as a complete blood count (CBC) and rapid blood glucose. The tests help distinguish between viral and bacterial infections, assess the body’s inflammation level, and support the doctor’s treatment decisions.

Interpretation of results and follow-up

If necessary, we arrange further examinations, such as X-rays or specialized laboratory samples.

In addition to rapid laboratory tests, other laboratory tests are also carried out at Tunturin Lääkärikeskus locations. Samples can be taken during a doctor’s or nurse’s appointment, and the range of tests covers a wide variety of blood, urine and other sample analyses.

The laboratory tests required are always assessed according to the situation and the need for treatment. Some tests can be analysed quickly in our own rapid laboratory, while other samples are sent to a partner laboratory for analysis.
